Position Overview
The Business Development and Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in driving Impact Hub Harare 's growth through grant acquisition, partnership development, and effective program management. This position requires a dynamic individual who can balance strategic thinking with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Partnerships
Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with Impact Hub Harare 's mission
and strategic objectives
Develop and write compelling grant proposals and funding applications
Create and implement comprehensive outreach strategies to engage with potential
partners, including NGOs, embassies, corporate partners, and other relevant
stakeholders
Maintain and nurture relationships with existing partners and donors
Represent Impact Hub Harare at networking events and strategic meetings
Program Management
Coordinate and oversee the implementation of funded projects and programs
Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with grant requirements and
organizational objectives
Prepare and submit timely progress reports to donors and stakeholders
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective program delivery
Track and evaluate program impact using relevant metrics and KPIs
Administrative & Strategic Support

Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to organizational growth
initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation of all business development activities and
partnership agreements
Coordinate and attend relevant internal and external meetings
Prepare presentation materials and briefing documents
Support the development of annual business development strategies and targets
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor 's degree in Business Administration, International Development, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, grant writing, or program management
Demonstrated success in securing grants and managing donor relationships
Experience working with international organizations and diverse stakeholders
Technical Skills
Excellent grant writing and proposal development skills
Strong project management capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
Experience with CRM systems and donor management platforms
Strong data analysis and reporting skills
Soft Skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Additional Requirements
Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage
Understanding of the Zimbabwe entrepreneurship ecosystem
Familiarity with Impact Hub Network and social entrepreneurship
Ability to work flexible hours when required
Valid driver 's license and ability to travel locally
