Job Description
Our client, an emerging powerhouse in the Textbook Publishing Industry is looking for suitably qualified individuals to fill the role Desk Top Publisher Operator:
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Import manuscripts and graphics into publishing software.
2. Creatively typeset manuscripts for effective communication.
3. Work with production team to ensure accuracy and project deadlines are met.
4. Keep abreast with new trends and software tools in digital publishing.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design/Fine Arts
2. Must have strong knowledge of Corel Draw, InDesign, and other designing software.
3. Must have typography and digital imaging skills.
4. Must have a sharp eye and be attentive to detail.
5. At least 3 years’ experience using designing software.
