Job Description

The Grain Marketing Board (GMB) seeks qualified, suitable and experienced candidates to fill the following positions on a permanent basis.
Northern Region - Norton, Centenary, Sanyati, Aspindale, Chegutu, Chinhoyi, Chitungwiza, Chiweshe, Cleveland, Mushumbi, Katnutsenzere, Guruve, Kadoma, Murombedzi, Karoi, Lions Den, Mhangura, Magunje, Mhondoro, Mt Darwin, Mukwichi, Vuti Eastern Region - Bazeley Bridge, Buhera, Chiendambuya, Chimanimani, Chinyudze, Chipinge, Chiredzi, Chivhu, Chivi, Dewedzo, Gutu, Jerera, Kotwa, Marondera, Masvosva, Middle Sabi, Mutare Grain, Mutoko, Murewa, Nyika, Rutenga, Makambe, Sadza, Timbermills, Wedza. Southern Region - Beitbridge, Gwanda, Charandura, Esigodini, Filabusi, Gokwe, Hwange, Lusulu, Manoti, Maphisa, Mataga, Nembudziya, Nkayi, Plumtree, Tongogara, Tsholotsho, Zhombe

Duties and Responsibilities

Summary of Duties:
• SP- Compiles and updates sales control sheets for bulk orders for debtors/customers.
• Compiles daily and weekly cash sales report for submission to the Depot Assistant/Depot Head.
• Prepares commodity sales figures, daily, weekly and monthly.
• Captures cash credit sales in the SAP system.
• Prepares 24G daily Sa- Compiles and updates stock returns
• Participates in the physical counting of stocks
• Carries out daily reconciliation with the Depot Assistant/Depot Head.
• Raises credit and cash dispatch vouchers.
• Raises grain receipts and tally cards.
• Orders depot requirements as and when necessary
• Captures documents into SAP real time.
• Performs any other work-related duties as assigned by the superior.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience:
• 5 '0' Levels including English Language and Mathematics/ Principles of Accounts.
• Higher National Diploma in Accounting/ Business Studies or equivalent.
• SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.
• At least one-year experience in a clerical position.
