FACT Zimbabwe is a Christian based organisation that was instituted in 1987. Since establishment, FACT Zimbabwe has been a leading national HIV and development organisation implementing various projects directly and through partnerships. The organization have since grown to become a broad-based health and development organization whilst maintaining special focus on HIV and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and related health issues. It envisions ‘Healthy Communities and a Healthy Nation’ and has a national footprint directly and through partnerships. FACT Zimbabwe is a community health partner in a consortium project led by Union Zimbabwe Trust (UZT) called SUPPORT TB which is funded by USAID. The project Goal is, ‘to improve health outcomes for individuals, health workers, families and communities affected and infected by TB in Zimbabwe’. FACT seeks the services of staff for Mashonaland Province as detailed below;
Position: DATA ASSISTANT (SUPPORT TB)

Job Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for CLM data and One Impact platform management. This includes troubleshooting any technical challenges with data collection gadgets, data collection application and maintaining the data repository or saver. The DA will also be responsible for providing technical support to Field Officers and Regional Project Coordinator on developing CLM data collection tools and CLM data analysis. S/he will among other things prepare insights
reports and presentations from CLM data for further analysis by the project team to identify barriers to TB and other health services. These reports will be used to come up with action points and advocacy priorities/asks for service delivery improvements at facility, district, provincial and national levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain CLM database and data collection application
• Manage and maintain One Impact platform for TB including providing feedback
• Contribute to development of CLM data collection tools and SOPs
• Train community health monitors (CHM) or community-based volunteers on CLM data collection application and tools
• Provide technical support to CHM in data collection process including troubleshooting
any technical challenges with gadgets and applications
• Produce periodic insights reports from submitted CLM data and from One Impact platform for use by Field Officers and Regional Project Coordinator to identify issues that needs attention and to support advocacy.
• Ensure that CHM receive mobile data and monthly allowances on time and attend to any challenges and follow-up with finance.
• Monitor and track utilization of the Transport Voucher System
Education, Desired Skills and Competencies
• Degree in Statistics, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Monitoring and
evaluation or any other relevant field supported by working experience
• Experience with creating and or managing project databases is desired
• Exceptional skills with at least one of the following applications; CommCare, Kobo
Collect, SPSS and Microsoft Excel is required
• At least 1 years’ experience working on data management or research related to public health
• Knowledge with DHIS2 system
