Job Description

One of our members is looking for a mature, professional, and dynamic individual to serve as the Front Desk / Customer Experience Officer. This individual will be the face of the organization, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for clients, partners, and visitors. The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

This role is pivotal in creating positive first impressions, managing client interactions, and supporting smooth day-to-day front office operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Greet and assist clients, visitors, and stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner.

Manage all front desk operations including answering phone calls, handling inquiries, and directing people appropriately.

Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meeting logistics.

Ensure timely and accurate communication within the organization.

Handle correspondence, deliveries, and front office administrative duties.

Support customer experience initiatives and provide feedback on service improvement.

Foster positive relationships with clients and internal teams.

Perform any other duties as assigned to support customer service excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

A Diploma or Degree in Public Relations, Customer Service, Communications, or a related field.

Proven experience in a front desk, customer service, or client-facing role.

Must be a registered member of CXAZ (Customer Experience Association of Zimbabwe).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong planning, organization, and time management abilities.

High level of professionalism, maturity, and integrity.

Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
