Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Operate crushers, feeders, conveyors, and screens as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure continuous feed of material into the crushing circuit.
• Adjust crusher settings to achieve required product size.
• Start up and shut down plant equipment safely and correctly.
• Identify abnormal vibrations, noises, or blockages.
• Check belt alignment, lubrication levels, and crusher conditions.
• Report detects and breakdowns promptly to the supervisor.
• Remove spillage and prevent material build-up.
• Ensure walkways and work areas are safe and accessible.
Qualifications and Experience
Key Skills and Attributes
• Basic knowledge of crushing plant operations.
• Ability to operate and monitor mechanical equipment.
• Understanding of safety procedures in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Physically fit and able to work under demanding conditions.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 5 'O' Levels or equivalent.
• Basic training in plant operations or mining is an added advantage.
• At least 1-2 years' experience in a crushing plant or similar environment preferred.
• Experience working with heavy machinery is an added advantage.
