Job Description

To develop & manage the Bank’s lending process.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Develops departmental yearly budgets & sets targets for subordinates.
2. Authorises loan applications within prescribed limits.
3. Revise & update credit policies & procedure
4. Creates new busines by visiting customers and sell the bank products through SMEs.
5. Analyse performance reports generated by banks loan management system
6. Writes and submits to senior management a weekly loan portfolio report.
7. Identifies existing financial products, design new financial products and introduce
new financial products to increase access to financing for SME and meet their needs.
8. Implement the credit & SME section strategy
9. Growing the Banks Loan Book within credit policy guidelines
10. Develop & Coordinate departmental budgets
11. Supervise subordinates

Qualifications and Experience

A relevant commercial degree

Minimum of THREE YEARS working experience as Credit Manager in a bank or microfinance institution

• Strong Microfinance knowledge
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing the financial sector.

Possession of a Diploma or Certficate in Microfinance an added advantage.

Possession of a Clean Drivers Licence A MUST
