Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above vacancy that has arisen within Nicoz Diamond Insurance Limited.
Duties and Responsibilities
Job Specification Reporting to the Technical Credit Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Assisting in the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual debtors reports for review by the Technical Accountant.
• Following up on outstanding payments and sending reminders to brokers for amounts that are due.
• Advising underwriters for any errors or anomalies done in the system so that they make corrections on debtors raised in Premium system.
• Identifying and receipting deposits made into the Company bank account.
• Identifying problematic debtors and escalates issues to the Accountant. •
Calculating facultative reinsurances for all branches monthly.
• Calculating outstanding premiums per file.
Qualifications and Experience
Person Specification
• Degree in Accounting.
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar position and environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good organizational skills.
