Job Description

Who We Are?
With over 20 years of experience, PSI/Zimbabwe now registered as Population Solutions for Health is looking for candidates who hold the requisite qualifications and experience to apply for the position below.

Job exists to coordinate the design and development of COVID-19 communication interventions to support the MoHCC and PSH communication structures. The incumbent will work with the PSH demand creation and service delivery teams on INTERGRATE, SRHR and Last Mile to co- develop and implement consumer informed communication interventions to promote informed uptake of COVID-19 vaccines and adoption of preventative behaviors among priority audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your Contribution – Key Responsibilities;
• Develops national marketing & communication plans for COVID-19 communications
response.
• Coordinates the insight gathering and design process to develop client centered
interventions.
• Works closely with service delivery teams to align demand creation activities with
service provision.
• Generates internal and external reports to track progress towards achievement of
workplans.
• Represents PSH marketing in the Risk Communications and Community Engagement
Pillar stakeholders’ forums.
• Develops the COVID-19 annual marketing budget to fund supported COVID-19
response activities for PSH and the MoHCC sub national structures.
• Tracks and reviews the project’s marketing expenditures to ensure that all activities are
within the budget.
• Facilitates the timely disbursement of funds to support the community mobilization
activities for the COVID-19 response.
• Leads the development of campaign briefs based on consumer insights.
• Works with the creative agency, MoHCC structures, PSH field teams and priority
audiences to co-design communications campaigns, job aids and toolkits for the
COVID-19 response
• Supervises photography, video shoots, in-studio recording of radio spots and shows,
and video scripts.
• Supervises the development of media placement schedules for the COVID-19
response.
• Provides technical support to PSH and MoHCC mobilising structures on COVID-19
community-based demand generation initiatives and innovations.
• Provides coaching / mentorship to strengthen PSH and MoHCC mobilizing structures
to adopt client centred messaging techniques and standardise messaging on COVID-
19.
• Coordinates the advocacy activities to engage community leaders and key
stakeholders to ensure buy in of the COVID-19 response.
• Supports the design of M&E tools for use by both the MoHCC and PSH mobilizing
structures during the execution of their tasks thereby providing timely data necessary
for decision making.
• Analyzes MIS data to identify COVID-19 response communication gaps and tailor
make responses.
• Conducts data quality checks of IPC data submitted every month.

Qualifications and Experience

What Are We Looking For?
• A registered nurse practitioner with more than three years’ experience in HIV services
provision.
• Degree in Health, Social Sciences, and/or Marketing.
• MPH/MBA will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in Behavior Change communication for communicable
diseases or in public health emergencies.
• Clean class 4 drivers’ licence, at least 2 years old.
