Contact Family Counselling Centre based in Bulawayo is looking for a Counsellor.
Duties and Responsibilities
To provide professional counselling to the public, particularly disadvantaged children, individuals and families in assisting them with coping mechanisms to manage their stressful situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with public speaking abilities and coordinating with networking partners that are working with the clients and the organisation. The counsellor should be friendly and professional, with outstanding people skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification and Work Experience
5 '0' level subjects and one of the following professional backgrounds: Nursing, Psychology or Psychiatry. The applicant must be a holder of a Systemic Counselling certificate and be computer literate. HIV programming experience will be an added advantage.
Years of Experience: minimum of 5 years and a valid counselling practising certificate.
