7.0 STUDENT AFFAIRS DIVISION
7.1.1 Counsellor (1 Post)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Providing counselling and advisory services to students and staff;
• Coordinating counselling and advisory services activities;
• Compiling records and reports of the Counselling and Advisory Services Department;
• Participating in professional associations;
• Preparing budgets for the Counselling and Advisory Services Department;
• Presenting reports in Student Affairs meetings, and
• Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Students.
Applicants must have a Masters degree in Counselling plus two (2) years relevant working experience, OR a first degree in Counselling or equivalent, plus four (4) years relevant working experience. In addition, applicants must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
NB: Female candidates are encouraged to apply. Police clearance is mandatory for successful candidates.
