Job Description
Tsapo Group of companies is a fast-growing organisation and is seeking to employ the services of a Corporate Accountant whose duties and responsibilities, qualifications and experience are as stated below.
LOCATION
This position is based in Zambia and the successful candidate must be willing to immediately relocate to Zambia. Zimbabweans based in Zambia are encouraged to apply. Possession of a Zambian work permit is a distinct advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Preparing budget forecasts within stipulated time frames, ensuring adherence to the budget and monitoring expenditures.
2. Preparing and presenting business plans and resolve cost related issues.
3. Preparing and distributing board meeting packs within advised time limits.
4. Reviewing bank reconciliations before preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
5. Examining finances to determine risks and create forecasts.
6. Overseeing external and internal audits.
7. Enforcing financial data confidentiality and conducting database backups.
8. Complying with financial policies and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Degree in Accounting or related field.
2. Professional qualification like ACCA, CIMA is an added advantage.
3. Proven experience as a Corporate Accountant.
4. In-depth experience in risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
5. Strong organisational and leadership skills.
6. Must have strong analytical skills and keen eye for detail.
