ALLAN WILSON HIGH SCHOOL (SDC) is inviting interested candidates who meet the minimum required qualifications of COOK x2

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares and cook meat, fish, vegetables, gravies, cereals, soups, fruits, bakery products, and other forma of food
Prepares and cooks food for special diets and formulation of recipes
Assists in the preparation and presentation of foods, salads and desserts, serves food as required
Cleans Kitchen, kitchen utensils and equipment, secures refrigerator and freezer
Maintains minimum standards of sanitation and safety
Performs other relate duties and responsibilities as required of assigned
Ensuring correct portions control are adhered to
Ensuring the food is served timeously
Flexible to work overtime when required
Stay abreast with food trends as well as best practices

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess 5 "O" Level passes including English Language and Mathematics
Diploma in Hotel and Catering/Culinary qualification
Degree in Hotel and Catering Management will be an added advantage
3 Years Proven experience as a cook in a similar environment
Good Cooking Skills
