Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above mentioned post. The incumbent will be reporting to the customer care officer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Driving lorries and other vehicles hired out to clients to ensure that all stakeholders receive a quality service
ii. Collecting and carrying broken down equipment using a car grader and also carry accident vehicles
iii. Collecting broken down heavy machinery and equipment in provinces and use a hydraulic machine to ensure that the heavy machine is brought back safely
iv. Collects spare parts from suppliers to the workshop.
v. Drives company guests to and from meetings to ensure they attend meetings timeously at the correct venues.
vi. Completes vehicle log books to capture mileage and destination of vehicle for tracking purposes in accordance with Administration procedures.
vii. Delivers mail and documents to suppliers and Ministries in liaison with superiors to facilitate communication to all stakeholders as well as achieve the organisations objectives on a day to day basis.
viii. Collects goods ordered by CMED from various suppliers to create efficiency of work flow as there will be adequate stock at any given time
ix. Transport staff and visitors as instructed in order to ensure they are where they are supposed to be in time.
x. Undertakes deliveries and collections as requested by divisions under the supervision of the superior.
Qualifications and Experience
‘O’ Level education
2. Clean class 2 driver’s license
3. 3 years or more of relevant experience.
4. G.A is an added advantage
