Zimbabwe Insurance Brokers (ZIB) invites applications from highly motivated and detail-oriented graduates to join our Compliance & Governance Unit under
a structured Graduate
Trainee Programme. The role provides exposure to statutory
compliance, corporate governance, AML/CFT processes, licensing management, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with statutory compliance (ZIMRA, ZIMDEF, NEC, NSSA, PRAZ).
• Support AML/CFT compliance, including Customer Due Diligence, monitoring and Suspicion Transaction Report preparation.
• Track and renew operational licences (IPEC, ZIMRA, Local Authority etc.).
• Maintain compliance calendars, registers, and statutory filing records.
• Assist with annual returns, re-registration and company secretarial filings.
• Draft and update governance documents such as Board Charters and registers.
• Support preparation of compliance and regulatory reports.
Qualifications
• Recent graduate (0-2 years) with a degree in Law, Governance, Accounting, Risk Management, Compliance or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance or corporate governance is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication, research and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel essential).
