Role Profile
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, The Industrial Development Corporation of Zimbabwe Limited (IDCZ) is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced professional for the position of Compliance Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Job Functions:
The duties of the post include: -
• Researching, developing and updating Group companies Compliance Checklists and Compliance Risk Management.
• Planning and ensuring that the Corporation and Group Companies capture all new tax and regulatory developments on an ongoing basis and are compliant.
• Checking that tax computations and returns are correct and that the same is paid on time.
• Assisting with the application of Tax Clearance Certificates and business licenses for Group companies.
• identifying and assessing risk areas across the Group and submit recommendations for compliance risk minimization.
• Ensuring the Corporation and Group's compliance with all applicable statutory regulations.
• Compiling draft compliance report highlighting non-adherence to set standards, policies and regulatory guidelines, risk implications and give appropriate recommendations.
• Keep abreast of current issues and areas of risk, and appropriately focus attention / identification on areas that pose high risk.

Qualifications and Experience

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
• A Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or graduate of ACCA, CIMA, ICSA, or related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in a regulatory compliance environment.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills; and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
