Applications are invited for the position of a COMMISION-BASED PETROLEUM SALES REPRESENTATIVE which has arisen at a small energy company in Harare.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the incumbent will be a commission based sales representative for petroleum. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and experience in the energy sector is an added advantage.
Among other duties the successful candidate will be responsible for
• Sell products to potential customers to meet their needs
• Perform cost benefit and needs analysis of potential customers
• Establish develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems and interests, competitive activities and potential for new products /services
The ideal candidate should have the following minimum qualifications and attributes:
A recognized Sales or Marketing qualification, or equivalent IMM.
At least 2 years’ experience in a Sales environment
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suit
Able to work under minimal supervision
Highly motivated, target driven with a proven track record in sales
Smart and presentable
Irreproachable integrity, confidentiality and professional conduct
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Clean class 4 Driver’s License
Own vehicle an added advantage
Experience in the energy sector is an added advantage.
