Job Description

Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe's Ferrochrome Production, has an exciting, and challenging career opportunity at its Kwekwe Division.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced persons to fill the following position on a 3 year fixed term employment contract basis, renewable subject to performance: -

Qualifications and Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Degree / Higher National Diploma in Computer Studies
• Minimum three years' industry experience
• Demonstrable technical aptitude in hardware, networks, databases and programming
• Demonstrable technical aptitude in SAP with specialisation in any one of SAP Authorisation, SAP Workflow, ABAP or Business Objects
• Ability to quickly understand complex problems and devise effective solutions
• Strong analytical and communications skills
• Strong client-focus and genuine desire to work with people
• Working knowledge of safety management systems, with exposure to the NOSA SHE system being an added advantage

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Provide support for desktop applications (MS Windows, MS Office, Mail, Anti-Virus, SAP access
• Responsible for initial installations, re-configurations and maintenance of ICT Applications
• Ensure proper operation of user side networking functions (user side TCP/IP) stack
• Monitor network applications and diagnose, tune or rectify operational problems
• Provide remedial training to users on these applications
