Job Description

Job Title: Client Services Clerk
Location: Harare
Department section: DLA Operations
Incumbent Superior 2d Level: Underwriter
Incumbent Superior 1* Level: Client services supervisor
Subordinates: None

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities
• Servicing client queries i.e. written and telephonic in respect of
• Claims
• New Business
• Premium Accounting
• Receipting and banking
• Compiling monthly statistics of queries processed analysed per type.
• Benchmarking service delivery capability-market intelligence
• Creating a high-performance culture in the department

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications/ Training/ Competences
• A Degree in Risk and Insurance Management or Business Management.
• At least 2 years Customer Service experience.
• excellent customer care skills.
• good computer skills.
• excellent negotiation skills.
• good teamwork skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
• the ability to work quickly and under pressure.
• a professional attitude when dealing with customers.
• Good understanding of Doves Funeral Assurance products and operations.
