Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above vacancy that has arisen within First Mutual Life Assurance Company.

The Job
Reporting to the Claims and Client Services Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Attending to queries from walk-in clients and other various platforms, ensuring full resolution to the client satistaction
• Cross and up selling of the retail business products to walk in clients
• Providing quotations on conversion from ZWG to USD or upgrades of the ZWG policy benefits and ensuring that clients complete the relevant online alteration and stop orders forms required to implement the changes
• Processing refunds and requested policy alterations in the system
• Advising claim requirements and verifying authenticity of documents submitted and thereafter, forwarding submitted documents to the Claims department for processing
• Preserving business by providing alternatives to cancellations and surrender requests
• Updating query register daily and compiling monthly statistical data on received and processed queries and enquiries

Qualifications and Experience

The Person
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
• Diploma in Insurance / Marketing
• Certificate of Proficiency
• 2 years' experience in a similar or related environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
