ROLE PROFILE
We are looking For a Client Relationship Manager to join our Corporate & Institutional Banking Department with the responsibility to manage our Public Sector & Institutional Clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prospecting for new business opportunities and offering the full range of Banking products and services for Public Sector & Institutional Clients.
Acquiring and developing trusted relationships with a portfolio of Public Sector and
Institutional clients to contribute towards the achievement of the overall bank strategy.
Obtaining related Financial documents to be able to put Forward any new borrowing requests From the client.
Mobilizing Float and time deposits and growing the Bank's Deposit Base in line with Public Sector & Institutional Banking targets.
Identifying and developing new business relationships with potential Public Sector and
Institutional clients to achieve the bank's liability objectives.
Developing and rolling out new products and customer value propositions For Public Sector and Institutional customers.
Ensuring that there are increased earnings and utilization of all bank products through the development of appropriate value chains.
Management of portfolio risk by critically evaluating credit appraisals before submission for approval.
Developing and implementing sales strategies that meet the customers' needs.
Driving volume in the Foreign exchange business, as well as marketing the entire AFC
Commercial Bank ecosystem.
Ensuring customer retention by providing efficient service delivery.

Value selling and negotiating expertise.
Digital and report writing proficiency.
Ability to read and interpret financial statements For credit assessment.
Ability to structure large corporate banking deals.
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Banking/Finance/Economics/Business Studies or equivalent.
A Post Graduate Qualification such as MBA, MSc, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
A Diploma in IOBZ and or Credit Management will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in relationship management with solid contacts in
Public Sector Enterprises, NGOs, Pension Funds, and Insurance companies.
