Seeking a Cleaner in a full-time position (40 hours/week)
This contract will be limited to one year after the completion of the three-month probation period. There is the possibility of extension.

Working conditions are based on Zimbabwean labour laws. Remuneration is based on the salary scale of the German Embassy in Harare for local employees. The starting gross monthly salary is 1.144 USD.
A health examination and a security background check are pre-requisites for employment. The successful candidate’s cooperation in this regard is a requirement. Non-citizens of Zimbabwe and Germany must be in possession of a Zimbabwean resident’s permit as well as a Zimbabwean work permit by the start date of the contract.
Duties and Responsibilities
The main duties of this position are as follows:
Cleaning the Ambassador’s residence- and where necessary, the Embassy building
Assisting (setting up and dismantling) during events
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess the following Qualities:
Technical:
Knowledge of diverse cleaning methods
Previous experience as a cleaner
Thorough and reliable approach to execution of duties
Good hygiene
English proficiency

Readiness and willingness to work outside of normal working hours and over the weekend.
Remuneration is based on local conditions. The starting monthly salary is 1.144, - USD. Working conditions are based on Zimbabwean labour laws. The contract runs for one year with the possibility of extension.

How to Apply
The successful candidate will be required to present the results of a physical examination by a medical doctor of the Embassy’s choosing before the employment contract can be signed. The successful candidate will also be required to under-go a security background check. Cooperation from the candidate in this regard is a requirement.
