Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following posts that have arisen in the University: Class Two Driver (1 Post)

REGISTRY DEPARTMENT (2 POSTS)

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
 Transportation of students, staff, delegates and approved passengers on official duty;
 Drive University fleet vehicles delivering provisions, documents and materials;
 Safekeeping of bus and vehicle accessories that includes the vehicle log book and tools;
 Ensuring that vehicles are fit to carry passengers in adherence with the Vehicle Inspection Department requirements;
 Periodic production of mileage returns;
 Cleaning of vehicles as well as the washing bay and
 Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Transport Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must be mature and experienced and must possess five (5) Ordinary Level passes including English Language; a valid Class Two (2) Driver’s Licence. A valid Defensive Driving certificate is an added advantage. Applicants should have at least three (3) years’ related work experience.
