Job Description
The position of a Child Mentor exists to promote the Spiritual Ministry of CURE Children’s Hospital of Zimbabwe. This responsibility entails creating and maintaining a child friendly environment for both caregivers and children.
Duties and Responsibilities
Counselling of children
Praying with the children
Forming mentoring relationships with the children
Creating a child friendly environment for the children and caregivers
Reading and narrating Bible stories.
Creating and maintaining a safe, clean environment for the children.
Promote a Christian culture within the playroom and playground through videos, movies, games and songs
Be able to share the gospel with the children using materials that appeal to them
Compilation of weekly and monthly reports.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Diploma in Education a must
Diploma in Christian Ministry
Fluent in English , Shona and Ndebele a must
At least 3 years experience in teaching position.
