Job Description
Position Overview
The Cotton Company of Zimbabwe Limited ("Cottco") is seeking a visionary and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization into its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the agricultural sector, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving sustainable practices. The candidate will report to the Board of Directors.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive production, growth and market expansion.
• Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Oversee financial performance, ensuring sustainable profitability and cost management.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including but not limited to farmers, suppliers, and Government entities.
• Advocate for sustainable agricultural practices and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
• Represent Cottco at industry events and in public forums.
• Perform any additional responsibilities that are reasonably expected of this position and any other tasks that the Board may require from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field
• An MBA or related Master's Degree will be an added advantage,
• Minimum of 10 years of executive leadership experience in agriculture or related sectors.
• Proven track record of successful strategic planning and execution.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and resources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
