Duties and Responsibilities
The role – What we expect from you:
· Obtain advance notification of meetings and functions to be served.
· Prepare and serve tea, lunch meals, and beverages to Executives, senior management, and visitors.
· Order adequate stocks and/or provisions for the kitchen.
· Keep an inventory of all kitchen utensils, equipment, food and beverages, and cleaning detergents.
· Maintain good housekeeping and high hygiene standards in the kitchen.
· Maintain and securely store kitchen equipment, utensils, cutlery, food, and beverages.
· Request for fumigation services.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications, Skills & Experience required:
· Possess a relevant professional qualification in Culinary Arts, Catering, Tourism, and Hospitality Management or similar from a recognized and reputable institution.
· Have at least 5 years of experience in the catering industry of which 2 years should have been in a corporate environment.
· Should have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Should be highly organized.
· Have demonstrable time management skills.
