Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Chef that has arisen in our Institute.
Reporting to the Center Manager, the successful candidate among other duties will be responsible for the following:-
Assist in menu planning
Food preparation, presentation and service
Maintain inventory control of ingredients and ordering supplies
Quality control of dishes
Maintaining kitchen hygiene, food safety standards and kitchen management
Prepares sandwiches or cookies for teas on special functions
Provides outside catering occasionally
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
5 “O” Levels including Maths and English.
Certified class 1 Chef
National Diploma in Professional Cookery or equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of culinary trends and techniques
Creative, innovative and a team player.
