The Chef will be responsible for preparing meals for students and staff members. He will plan meals according to students’ preferences, and dietary needs, shop for meal ingredients, and to package meals accordingly.
Drafting kitchen budget.
Monitoring and managing supplies within a budget
Preparing reports.
Menu planning.
Shopping for ingredients.
Preparing & cooking meals for Students/boarders.
Saving students/boarders food.
Clearing away and cleaning the kitchen.
Managing kitchen.
Graduate degree or Diploma in the field.
Good standards of hygiene.
Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
A strong understanding of nutrition.
The ability to handle criticism.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer care service skills.
Detail-oriented.
At least three years of experience of serving in high reputable restaurants.
