Job Description
We’re a small and growing supplier of fresh farm produce looking for a creative and energetic chef to join our young team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing food for the office staff on a daily basis
Co-creating new and exciting recipes for staff meal plans (in collaboration with HR & Administration Officer)
Preparing experimental, exploratory and [professionally cooked and presented meals for marketing purposes for the organization and all related brands
Ensuring great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
Supervising packaging of outgoing orders, and performing general hygiene and quality checks on produce quality
Contributing to customer satisfaction inquiries along with Sales and Marketing, to anticipate customers’ needs and generate demand for new products
Overseeing any food processing for the organization and related brands
Ensuring work environment and stations are clean and sanitized
Monitoring stock and place orders when there are shortages
Performing kitchen duties, as needed and directed by the HR & Administration Officer
Formulating and consistently updating hygiene practises
Qualifications and Experience
A certificate/diploma in Culinary Arts, or related qualification
1 year relevant working experience in a similar or related position is an added advantage
