Job Purpose
Cassava Smartech is looking for a vibrant and energetic Channel Manager to join its EcoCash team. The main purpose of the position is to manage and support the implementation of channel payments for enterprise and consumer solutions for the portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Develops and implements channel strategies to enhance product uptake and usage.
• Recommends promotional activities to enhance product uptake and usage.
• Tracks and Identifies product performance gaps and designs interventions to ensure usage.
• Acquires new billers and manages existing billers in the market for channel in channel in line with business requirements.
• Identifies potential partnership opportunities including new models.
• Creates mobile banking & ecommerce products and value proposition for identified market segments.
• Identifies and recommends business opportunities to drive growth in the mobile banking portfolio.
• Oversees the profitability by product by channel and product in line with market potential.
• Assists Head Merchant Payments with the production of proposals and responses to requests for proposals or request for information.
• Produces channel regulatory reports for submission.
• Performs and completes proiects management lifecvcle is completed in line with project plan approXimatery 4 projects annually.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification, Skills and Experience
• A Commercial degree or equivalent is a must.
• A professional qualification in Banking or Commerce is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience in a similar or related environment.
• Honesty & integrity is a must.
