Job Description

Location of Assignment: Harare
Duration of Assignment: 15 days
Reports to: Executive Director
Background
Transparency International Zimbabwe (TI Z) is the local chapter of the global movement against corruption. Change management is increasingly becoming one of the most critical success factors in any organization and TI Z is no exception. Therefore, TI Z intends to develop a change management plan that assists the organization to transition and transform with the changing working environment and emerging anti-corruption processes, strategies and procedures.
Purpose
To develop a roadmap for defining concrete steps that TI Z will take to execute the change management process.
Objectives
To assist TI Z in strategic and operational transformation and transition; To assist TI Z in planning and implementing transition. This includes both the “people” side of the change and the “process” side of the change.
Deliverables
Inception report completed within two days of commencement of assignment. The inception report shall include: A detailed description of the methodology and timeline for the change management plan and the list of persons to interview.; A change management plan with concrete steps.; Report on the work carried out.
Payment
Payment of the consultant will be done after successful completion of the assignment.
Role of TI Z
TI Z will avail all the necessary documentation and information required for the execution of the assignment.
Reporting
The consultant/s will report to the Executive Director

Duties and Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities of Consultant
Assess and review programing and administrative processes, procedures and strategies for TI Z.; Assess the scope for change management at TI Z.; Do a scenario change management for TI Z.; Undertake an analysis of the impacts of changing policies, processes, procedures and strategies.; Clarify the expected benefits of change management for TI Z.; Draft a change management plan with clear action plans that make change an integral part in all of TI Z’s processes

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and experience
Advanced university degree (MA or PhD) in social sciences preferably Sociology, Human Resources Management, Governance studies, Development studies, Policy studies, or any other relevant subjects. Minimum five years of work experience in organizational development and change management. The applicant must have a solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process with considerable experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools. Excellent English language skills and ability to write clear and compelling content for a wide variety of audiences. Ability to work with minimum supervision and deliver the outputs with high quality.
