We are seeking a vibrant and customer-focused Cashier to join our client's team in Chiredzi. The ideal candidate should not only be efficient in handling transactions but also have a strong sales background and excellent upselling skills. A positive attitude, the ability to smile and engage warmly with customers, and strong mathematical skills are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
Handle cash, card, and mobile money transactions accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
Greet customers with a friendly smile and provide excellent service.
Actively upsell products and services to maximize sales.
Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
Maintain accurate records of daily sales and prepare reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and cash handling procedures.
Assist with stock counts and general shop duties when required.
Qualifications and Experience
Age: 23–30 years.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales or cashiering.
Strong numerical and mathematical skills.
Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, presentable, and professional demeanor.
Ability to upsell and cross-sell effectively.
