Job Description

Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons to fill in the following vacancy that has arisen within the Group.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and directs construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on daily basis.
• Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Prepares internal and external reports pertaining to job status.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in relevant field at senior managerial position.
• Proficiency in construction management software, project scheduling tools and cost estimation software
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Driver’s license a MUST.
