Job Description

Impala Car Rental and Impala Travel seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Officer to drive the growth of our car rental and travel divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, reactivating dormant accounts, strengthening client relationship and expanding the company’s market presence.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new clients for both Impala Car Rental and Impala Travel.
• Conduct engaging product and service presentations to potential and existing clients.
• Reactivate dormant clients and build strong long-term business relationships.
• Perform market research, industry trends and competitor analysis to guide pricing and growth strategies.
• Develop business proposals tailored to client needs.
• Open new markets and increase geographical coverage to expand business reach.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and ensure accurate reporting of business prospects.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual set targets.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in business development.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• Experience in the Car rental or Travel industry will be a distinct advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s license a must.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Willingness to travel when required.
