Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to drive sales of construction materials including industrial pipes, hardware, and related products. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, engaging clients within the construction and engineering sectors, and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure continued growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction sector
• Engage with clients across construction companies, civil engineering firms, and hardware retailers
• Prepare and present technical sales proposals and competitive quotations
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
• Prepare and submit sales performance reports to management

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Engineering, Construction, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the construction industry
• Solid understanding of construction products and materials
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools is an added advantage
