Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager with proven experience in managing high-volume sales, ideally within the construction or civil engineering sectors. In this role, you will lead efforts to drive substantial sales growth of construction materials, including industrial pipes, hardware, and related products. Success in this position requires strategic client engagement, effective pipeline management, and the ability to build long-term relationships that maximize revenue across multiple accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute high-volume sales strategies to achieve aggressive revenue targets
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within construction, civil engineering, and related sectors
• Manage a robust sales pipeline, prioritize leads, and maintain consistent follow-up to maximize conversion rates
• Prepare and deliver technical sales proposals and competitive quotations tailored to client needs
• Build and nurture long-term client relationships to ensure repeat and expanded business
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with company goals
• Report regularly on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Sales, Engineering, Construction, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 5-8 years of business development or sales management experience, with a focus on high-volume sales
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the construction or industrial products sector
• Strong understanding of construction materials and industry dynamics
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and complex sales cycles effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
