BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Reporting to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
2. Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
3. Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails
4. Presenting our company to potential clients
5. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
6. Assisting in organizing promotional events, traditional or digital campaigns and attending them to
facilitate their success
7. 8. Composing and posting online content on the company’s website and social media accounts
Writing marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the
market
1. 2. Qualifications and Experience
BSc Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality or any relevant field Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
Skills and Competencies
1. Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
2. Understanding of sales performance metrics
3. Ability to deliver engaging presentations
4. Exquisite communication and negotiation skills
5. Ability to deliver engaging presentations
6. Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
7. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
8. Good time management skills
