We are looking for Graduate Trainees to join our team. The successful applicants will, among other key duties, be responsible for:
• Assisting in the development and implementation of the Business Development Strategy to support sustainable growth of the Authority’s revenue streams.
• Supporting the identification and exploration of new business opportunities in crops, livestock, agri-processing, and exports.
• Assisting in implementing initiatives aimed at supporting sales and revenue growth.
• Supporting collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams in leading generation and client engagement activities.
• Assisting in identifying gaps within agriculture value chains (e.g., logistics, storage, and technology adoption).
• Supporting coordination with Operations Departments (Commercial Production and Rural Development & Industrialization) to enhance business synergies.
• Conducting market research and competitor analysis to support business development initiatives.
• Assisting in the development and execution of business development initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Supporting the identification and development of partnerships, including contract farming and off-take agreements.
• Assisting in monitoring and tracking various business development projects and initiatives.
• Supporting business teams in developing basic business models and commercialization strategies.
• Assisting in the implementation and follow-up of business development initiatives to ensure timely execution.
• Assisting in tracking and reporting key business development metrics and performance indicators.
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned for learning and development purposes.
• A Degree in Business Development/Agribusiness Management/ Business Economics or equivalent.
• At least 1-year relevant work experience.
