BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT: SOUTHERN REGION

Duties and Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Full-time Marketer with a flair for business development.
• Business development through web/phone, with opportunity to travel to client locations.
• Preparation of business proposals, presentations.
• Generate client contacts and leads to ensure that pre-determined new business acquisition targets are achieved.
• Attending networking and industry events to create network of influential contacts
• Reviving former business.
• Developing new distribution channels.
• Maintaining relationships with clients.
• Ensuring that the brand is visible through various forms of advertising.
• New product development.
• Business creation - Identify new business opportunities.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Client liaison and engagements.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Insurance.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in a Medical Aid business with a proven understanding of the Medical Aid Industry.
• Market research skills a necessity.
• Insurance industry and sales experience required.
• Must be fluent in Ndebele, Shona and English.
• Interested individuals within Bulawayo and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
