VACANCY: BRAND MANAGER
(Grade D3)
Job Summary
This position is crucial for effective positioning of the product and corporate brands in the market to optimize value to the business. The incumbent will be responsible for building and sustaining endurable brands, driven by market insights and strategic communication plans that align with overarching company objectives. This position will directly report to the Marketing Services Executive and encompass the following responsibilities:
Specific Responsibilities
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends and opportunities, and devise requisite strategies for the business.
• Develop and implement comprehensive brand marketing strategies for assigned products or categories that drive brand awareness, market share, and profitability.
• Develop and manage brand positioning, messaging, and communication strategies across all channels (traditional and digital).
• Supervise the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, encompassing advertising, promotions, activations, and social media, while ensuring brand consistency across all communication materials and customer touch points.
• Oversee the management of events and exhibitions/shows from their conception through planning, budgeting, logistics, execution, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Research and Development and Sales to ensure new products align with the brand's identity and market needs.
• Manage brand budgets and ensure a return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives.
• Monitor brand performance through research and analytics and recommend the appropriate courses of action.
The ideal incumbent must possess have the following:
• Degree in Marketing / Business Management / International Business / Marketing / Sales or equivalent.
• Corporate Membership to a relevant professional body e.g. IMM.
• 4-6 years relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.
