Job Description


Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the following posts that have risen in Council's Departments.
1. Treasury Department

Bookkeeper Expenditure (Grade 12) - 1 Post

Duties and Responsibilities

Recording transactions involving expenditure, and posting to various accounts
Processing payments
Producing various financial reports
Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements
Assist with tax compliance
Handle accounts payable

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and attributes

Diploma in Accounting or a professional Accounting qualification such as CIS, CIA ACCA CIMA OR SAAA
Must exhibit honesty and transparency
Ability to attend to challenges
Must have at least 3 years' relevant experience
Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
Excellent communication skills
