We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage the financial records and transactions of our organization. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. They will also ensure compliance with local financial regulations, prepare reports, and assist with budgeting and financial planning.
Record financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
Maintain accurate ledgers and journals.
Process payroll and ensure statutory deductions (e.g., ZIMRA, NSSA) are up to date.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Assist with tax preparation and compliance with Zimbabwean tax laws.
Support audits and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with management for financial planning and budgeting.
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably within Zimbabwe.
Knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations.
Strong knowledge about Microsoft Suite preferably more proficient in Excel
Proficiency in accounting software ( Sage Pastel Accounting).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
