Job Description
The Manager Aviation Training Academy will provide professional leadership and management of the Academy and promote to a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards in all areas of the Academy's work. The operations of the academy will be guided by the ATAZ approved business plan
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide leadership in the development and achievement of the Academy's vision, mission and shored values
• Develop and implement a strategic business plan that will lead to the growth and sustainability of the Academy into a successful major international aviation training institution
• To evaluate staff and the Academy, performance, and identify priorities to build capacity for continuous improvement.
• To carry out day to day management, organisation and administration al ATAZ
• Manage the Academy, financial and human resources effectively and efficiently to achieve the Academy's goals and prioritize based on best practice.
• Recruit, retain and deploy staff appropriately, and assist in managing their workload to achieve the vision and goals of the Academy.
• lead in designing a dynamic curriculum consistent with the demands of industry.
• Ensure that there is a consistent and continuous Academy-wide focus on students' achievement, using data and benchmarks to monitor progress .
Qualifications and Experience
• A Degree in Education, Commerce, or Business Administration from a recognised and reputable university.
• A relevant Master's degree will be on added advantage.
• 8 years relevant working experience, 4 of which should be at management level.
