Auto Electrician
Class 1 Auto Electrician (Earthmoving Equipment & Heavy Vehicles).
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties And Responsibilities
• Carrying out fault diagnosing on petrol, diesel, electric automotive systems to resolve needed repairs.
• Undertake vehicle, trailer and Earthmoving equipment electrical re-wiring.
• Testing and repairing of vehicle starting systems.
• Overhauling of starter motors and alternators
• Performing minor to major fixes on equipment.
• Meeting set targets by attending allocated vehicle breakdowns.
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of workshop equipment.
• Submit written vehicle repair job cards after repairs.
• Supervise trainee artisans
• Carrying out any tasks assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications And Experience
• Class 1 Auto Electrics
• Sound Knowledge of CAT ET and SIS2.0
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience with Earthmoving Equipment & Heavy Vehicle
