Job Description

Growing and retaining client relationships which then drives revenue for the bank.

Duties and Responsibilities

➢ Responsibilities
• Maintaining and growing customer relationships and identify opportunities in those relationships for ABC Zimbabwe and the wider group and to work on those opportunities to their successful conclusion.
• Performing regular customer visits and keep abreast with development in various markets and industries that customers operate in.
• Attaining income levels in line with budget
• Monitoring account performance and facility utilization and produce monthly reports on excesses and arrears on customer accounts.
• Adhering to the Bank’s Credit Policy Framework on all customer accounts.
• Preparing credit appraisals for submission to various committees and ensuring conclusion of credible deals.
• Participating actively in business development meetings by updating business on new developments regarding challenges and opportunities existing in our business.
• Generating proposals to increase the value of corporate and treasury portfolio through the identification of new products, potential alliances and leveraging off Group product and service capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Work Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or Accounting
• At least 4 years in banking sector with at least 2 years’ experience in client coverage or credit origination.
• Familiarity with international best practices and global trends in the sector.

Job Related Knowledge
• Technical knowledge in business finance tools, products and methodologies (sales management, CRM, issuing & acquiring, credit scoring, collections, product development, etc.).
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory issues typical for country banking system.
