An exciting and challenging career opportunity has arisen within our Private Banking Department for the position of Assistant Relationship Manager, Private Banking, Retail Banking Division that has arisen within CBZ BANK.
Duties and Responsibilities
The role - what we expect from you
Implement effective Customer Relationship and Customer Loyalty initiatives and programmes.
Profile customers to identify new opportunities for business.
Monitor and attend to queries and complaints.
Advise clients on investment options available.
Verify and authorize transactions within prescribed limits.
Grow the unit’s deposit portfolio to the assigned deposit budget.
Prospect for new business and develop new high net-worth customers.
Market and cross sell Group products to existing clients.
Monitor and oversee that accounts are properly maintained and serviced.
Follow up on irregular accounts to achieve acceptable irregularity and default ratios.
Facilitate timely renewal of expiring facilities.
Maintain a quality advances book.
Attain portfolio sales and utilization levels as per assigned budget for selected products.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications, Skills and experience required
Possess a first degree in Business Studies, Business Management, Marketing, Economics, Banking & Finance or similar.
Should have a professional qualification such as IOBZ, ACCA, IMM or similar.
Possession of an MBA, MBL, MSC or similar is a clear advantage.
Should have strong ability to work in a team environment.
Have proven oral and written communication skills.
Possess in depth knowledge of Retail Banking policies and procedures.
Should have strong marketing skills.
