Job Description

The following vacancy has arisen within the Council and suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the post of:

ONE YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT

ASSISTANT REGISTRATION SECRETARY – HARARE OFFICE

Reporting to the Administrative Officer of the MDPCZ.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assessment of applications and circulation of files.
• Preparation of draft Committee agendas.
• Actioning Committee matters.
• Arrangement of joint and investigative inspections of health institutions.
• Registration and capturing of practitioners and premises.
• Organizing Council registration assessments and professional examinations.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma/Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies
• At least three years experience as a Secretary

Attributes and Skills
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Willingness to learn Council processes.
• Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
