Job Description
The job entails assisting the field officer in crop production at MASO Centre applying Climate Smart Agriculture Technologies and at project sites in Rural Gweru district. In addition the assistant field officer will manage Mushroom and Poultry production as well as Aquaculture and Apiary activities at the MASO center
Duties and Responsibilities
Managing crop production at MASO Center
Managing various livelihoods enterprises at MASO Center
Applying Climate Smart Agriculture technologies and skills in the production at MASO Center
Supporting the field officer at project community sites
Ensure marketing of the produce at MASO
Qualifications and Experience
The candidate should possess the following:
A diploma in Agriculture from a reputable college
Knowledge and Skills in climate smart agriculture
Verifiable knowledge and practical skills in Mushroom and Poultry production, Aquaculture , Apiary
Not more than 35 years old
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
A driver’s license is an added advantage
