Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting the Carpenter in performing the following duties;
Repair and maintenance on all buildings of the University.
Carpentry repairs and maintenance of furniture e.g. chairs desks, shelves, cupboards, cabinets etc. for the University.
Performing new carpentry works on buildings, furniture and facilities whenever this is not out-sourced.
Performing any other duties as assigned by the Director Projects and Maintenance
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
3 ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics/Science. Experience as a semi-skilled carpentry assistant is an added advantage.
At least one (1) year as a semi-skilled carpentry assistant doing repairs and maintenance.
