ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT- BUDGETING AND COSTING

Job Description

The incumbent will report to the Management Accountant and will be responsible for the following, among other duties:
Updating the revenue and capital expenditure commitment register
Production of monthly capital expenditure reports
Compilation of budget input from various departments
Consolidation of the revenue budget.
Consolidation of the capital expenditure budget.
Production of monthly PSIP report
Collecting and updating the statistical database on a monthly basis.
Reconciliation of allocated general ledger codes

Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Accountancy, Business Studies, or equivalent.
Professional qualifications in accountancy e.g. CIS, CIMA or other relevant qualification will be an added advantage
At least 3 years relevant working experience.
